"FULL-SERVE" STALK LIST
There are no new setups ahead of today's Fed meeting. If the market responds favorably to the Fed's decision we will look to enter stocks breaking out on strong volume from our long watchlist below. We are currently flat and prepared to establish positions in either direction. We will notify via email and cell alert if any new trades are placed.
All open positions triggered their protective stops per the gap rules yesterday. These rules are designed to protect our capital in dangerous markets. Without rules we are reduced to trading on emotion rather than executing a plan. Trading on emotion will often lead to decisions that seem justified at that moment, but ultimately lead to larger losses that can easily spiral out of control. We take our losses (follow the plan) and move on knowing that over the long haul we will outperform the market.
"SELF-SERVE" STALK LIST - UPDATED EVERY MONDAY (Click here to view the "Self-Serve" Stalk List
section of the user guide.)
Pullback entries - (2-5 day pullbacks)
There are virtually no pullback swing setups, as the market has been chopping around or trending lower since the beginning of February. Stocks that make this list are showing a great deal of relative strength.
Breakout entries (typically trigger over a tight trading range)
