Market Conditions / Gameplan:

Broad market indices are attempting to put in an intermediate term bottom. We are looking for confirmation of this through leading stocks breaking out to new highs on big volume.
Market Leaders:
- Retail/apparel stocks are showing strength in '08, with URBN, CHIC, and GYMB consolidating in tight patterns.
- Most commodity stocks broke down on heavy volume, crashing below their 50-day MA's.
Open Position Detail:
- SIAL - Recovered into the close. No change in stop.
- STLD - Pulled back to support of 20-day EMA. No change in stop.
- MA - Poised to breakout from a bullish consolidation at the highs. No change in stop.
