- Per intraday email alert, we bought FSLR.
- MA fell apart in the last 90 minutes of trading (with a little help from the Visa IPO - ticker V) and triggered our stop.
- We raised our stops in STLD and SIAL.
- ISRG exploded for a 26 point gain from the self-serve watchlist. URBN also broke out.
Market Conditions / Gameplan:
- Broad market indices are attempting to put in an intermediate term bottom. We are looking for confirmation of this through leading stocks breaking out to new highs on big volume.

Notes on leaders:
Retail/apparel stocks are showing strength in '08, with URBN, CHIC, and GYMB consolidating in tight patterns.
Most commodity stocks broke down on heavy volume, crashing below their 50-day MA's.
Open Position Detail:
- SIAL - Returned back above the breakout pivot and is forming a cup and handle pattern on the 60-minute chart. We are trailing a stop just beneath yesterday's low, which is also below the hourly uptrend line.
- STLD - We raised the stop to just beneath the 10-day MA in case the resumption of trend fails.
- FSLR - Poised to breakout from a bullish consolidation at the highs. No change in stop.
