📌 Understanding Our Swing Trade Alerts

Quick Reference Guide:

This channel posts swing trade alerts and updates from The Wagner Daily, our swing trading stock report led by Chief Technical Analyst Rick Pedicelli.

Published since 2002, over 3,100 trades have been posted since then. All were built on the same rule-based, disciplined methodology we teach inside TradeQuest.

What You'll See Posted Here

Swing Trade Alert

Rick entering or exiting a position in our Wagner Daily model portfolio.

Entries trigger via a buy stop or buy limit order, always with position size as a percentage of the portfolio. That percentage is how you scale the same trade to your own account while keeping the same risk we're taking.

Exits trigger via a stop loss or profit target hitting. We'll show you what closed and the result.

Position Update

The open positions table straight out of the newsletter, same one Wagner Daily subscribers see in real time.

What Rick's holding, how it's doing, and where the stop sits now.

What We're Trading

This channel is stock-focused, mostly growth names showing the strongest relative strength in the US market.

The methodology works just as well on crypto, futures, or anything else with a chart and volume behind it.

If crypto's more your speed, we run this same approach over in Swing Trade Ideas, our free group for that.

Why Alerts Sometimes Go Quiet for Weeks

We only trade when the market itself says it's time to. That comes down to three states.

Buy Signal

Confirmed by a Follow-Through Day, a strong rally day (1.5%+ gain on rising volume) after a real correction. This is when we're actively hunting for trades.

Warning Signs

Distribution days start piling up, heavy selling under the surface, or the index cracks a key level. We tighten up here.

Cash Signal

The market breaks down further. We step aside completely and wait for the next Follow-Through Day to reset the whole cycle.

If you haven't seen an alert in a while, it's usually because we're sitting in cash on purpose. Not asleep at the wheel, just following the same rules that have kept us out of some of the worst drawdowns over the years.

Credit where it's due, this framework traces back to William O'Neil and Investor's Business Daily. It's built into everything we do here.

Delayed Here, Real-Time Elsewhere

Everything in this channel posts 3 to 4 days after the fact. If you want Rick's alerts the moment he posts them, that's the Wagner Daily.
